QUARANTINE TIMES: YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE
Updated: Jul 30
I’ve had the inside scoop from my brother, who lives in China, about things that will happen in the U.S. days before they occur. He knew there would be shortages in the U.S. and that doctors will have to choose between who gets a ventilator. Am I scared now that I’ve seen the effects of COVID-19? Yes, I am. Am I going to let that fear control me? No, I won’t.
My brother is in the process of coordinating with medical practitioners in China to deliver 1 million N95 masks to hospitals in the U.S. He has asked for my help in this project and to call on Americans to do something to help contain the virus. This can range from social distancing, making cloth masks for hospitals, or delivering food to families who can’t supply meals for themselves. The time to act is now. Please consider the risks you take being around others because if you play with death it will bite you hard.
This pandemic is no laughing matter. Although this virus may not affect you fully, it will affect anyone around you with a bad immune system. Plus there’s two, potentially three different strains of this virus floating around. This applies to people of all ages. You no longer know where anybody or anything has been. Going to social gatherings just because everyone else is doing it isn’t helping. The longer you don’t do what everyone is supposed to be doing, the longer you’re going to have to do it.
"Stay home and save a hundred lives! That's the best vaccine."
